Aged 70, I moved to Cumbria after leaving school, living and working in the lakes until 1999 when the wet weather got the better of me. I upped sticks and moved to the Middle East to join my husband , where I was involved in running an Equestrian Club for Expats.
I moved to the village 20 yrs ago and my time is now spent battling the weeds in my garden.
